A Toronto Star article in this morning's paper suggests that the residents of Leslieville and the City of Toronto may be the architects of the controversial proposal to build a Wal-Mart on Eastern Avenue - a proposal which is before the Ontario Municipal Board.It's an interesting read about just how elusive the goal of building mixed-use communities can be.
